LOCALS ONLY RADIO Promo Shoot

After being contacted by Wes at Locals Only Radio in reference to hiring us to do their Promo shoot, our first thought was to respond with.......
I'm sorry but we can't because Corey is having surgery in two weeks.

Instead, we took the chance and went for it!

We of course made sure the shoot would be indoors in a heated area. We ventured to Alexandria VA Sunday morning to meet Wes and Derek of Locals Only Radio.

Locals Only Radio - L.O.R. are huge supporters of the Washington DC/Baltimore MD local music scene. They not only support the music scene, but also hold great events like the annual event ThrowDown Music Festival.

They also are in the possible works of broadcasting via WJFK, of Washington DC

As always we went with our minds full of ideas of how we wanted to portray our images of them

Even though Corey went home in major pain that day, it was well worth the final results.
Thank goodness he was able to sit through much of the shoot :)

They are so easy to work with. They are also so appreciative of our talents, it was an amazing feeling to see the looks on their faces when viewing the shots....not to mention the shots weren't even finalized yet :)

A Day To Escape

With Corey's surgery being only a couple weeks away, we felt it would make things a little better inside to just get away from it all.
What better place to do this than Skyline Drive in VA..

The mountains, the overlooks, the peaceful car ride, the conversations, the deer, the picnic in the car, and of course as always seeing the place where he asked me to marry him.
It was truly the perfect way to just forget about things for a while.

Of course we did not go without camera in hand. Decided to take a couple strobist shots of each other, sometimes it's nice to take just a little equipment and have fun with the shots.
We really enjoyed taking these shots, sometimes simple fun makes the best memories!

Corey's surgery will take place Monday March 17th.
