Snapp-Shot Photography FACELIFT!

We decided today
December 2, 2008 would be the perfect day to relaunch our brand new redesigned website!
Snapp-Shot Photography

Two years ago on this very date we did our shoot with a very special band and friends Everyone But Pete.
December 2,2006

They were so amazing to work with that day, treated us with dinner, and paid us more than our asking price.
We were blown away that day by their gratitude and have been since.
For the past two years this band has promoted us as photographers in every way possible.
Sending people our way, giving us shout outs on stage, and introducing us as their personal professional photographers.

We were introduced to Everyone But Pete by their amazing manager Amber Therese Foster.

Anyone who knows us, understands how much she means to us.
She is such a strong, caring, understanding person.
She's a hard worker and represents her band's well and she is a faithful true friend to us all who are blessed to call her friend.

Since that day of December 2, 2006 we have also become very close friends with all of the guys of Everyone But Pete.
They truly feel like family to us and mean the world to us.
They have been there for us through ups and downs, good times and bad, rocked our benefit show when Corey was injured, and truly can not say enough good things about these amazing guys!

We have since done another shoot with them. Said good bye to Cal Stamp and welcomed in Andrew VanHorn.

Both are great guys, and amazing guitarists.

So I end this blog by saying thank you to Amber, Jim, Brian, Chris "Lane", Cal, and Andrew for going above and beyond for us from day one.
This blog and the newly revamped Snapp-Shot Photography website is dedicated to you my friends!

Our Love Always,
Erin and Corey

Snapp-Shot Takes on EVENTS!

Many of you who have attended any of the recent Camel events / Media Star Promotions may have experienced the brand new
Snapp-Shot Photography Photo Booth

A little over 4 months ago, we were contacted by Camel Events to take part in the closing of one of our favorite venues TT Reynold's in FairFax VA. We grately accepted, and since have been blessed to continue our work with them.
Some of the photo booth themes we have done are: Irish, Rock Star, Halloween Green Screen, Smokey Sexy Rock Star, and more.
In addition to the photo booth we have also done a Red Carpet Event, and several Roaming throughout.

Not only have we worked in the DC/surrounding area, we have also had the priveldge of working with the Richmond Branch of Camel/Media Star Promotions.

We really enjoy this new turn in our carreer...and hope it continues
If you are reading this looking for a new twist of fun at your next event, please contact us! All we need is a 10x10 area and electric...then leave the rest up to us and your guests will be talking for weeks to come about your event and how much fun they had in the Snapp-Shot Photography Photo Booth.

Don't have room for the booth?
That's ok, we also provide take home prints for you guests as memories of your event.
We will roam the event taking posed and candid shots for them to pick up their prints as they leave the event!

Don't forget, venture to other places with our GREEN SCREEN!

This blog should have been written a while back, but sometimes they say save the best for last...right??
Well...this is one of those times.

Nate Lukas has not only grown to be one of our best friends,
but also is like a brother to us.
To find one real friend in a lifetime is good fortune;
to keep him is a blessing.

"Blessing...indeed he is"
Thank You Nate.

Oh...now as to the reason we did this shoot.
Nate Lukas

Nate is also a great musician as well as a very talented vocalist , he has done all of our audio promotions!

I made this video to share some of the memories that were captured that day...and many more are sure to follow :)

NUMA shoot

As many of your know we worked with the band NUMA a while back, also as many of you know bands change throughout time.

We were asked to shoot them again upon arrival of their new drummer Matt Wiles.

The guys didn't have a location in mind, so we had scouted out a location a few weeks before that we knew would be perfect for them.

These guys are amazing to work with every way you look at it.
Always fun and trusting of our judgment 100%.
Since the last shoot we've become friends with all of the guys, and especially Bryan who I have become quite close with....he's a really great guy and can't thank him enough for always being their to listen...so thanks Bryan :)

After the shoot that night we ate dinner bay side...now simply ask yourself...who could ask for anything more? ;)

Please take the time to watch the behind the scenes video.
It shows what great guys they are and how much fun this shoot was.
Also please take the time to check them out.

Small Tokens Of Friendship
- Large Tokens Of Love

So I know this is a "business" blog...but sometimes things in life are so much more important than any business could be.
As many of you know, Corey and I have been through a very rough two years...and unfort. are still facing new challenges and heartaches every day.

Sometimes we feel like we are all alone, then out of the blue a card arrives in the mail and a two page e-mail appears in our inbox from special friends.
On the very same day...how could that happen??
It happened because we have been blessed with amazing friends in our life.

One of our best friends ever took the time out of her busy schedule to send the cutest pick me up card ever....with a small token tucked away inside.
A little wallet card that reads:
"THE STUFF THAT WEARS ON THE NERVES POLISHES THE SOUL."
Signed thinking of you with love.

Earlier this morning I received a two page e-mail from one of the most inspirational friends we have. He has been there for us from the start with his inspiring words. It seems some way, some how he always knows when to write and what to say to bring us back up when we are down. Almost as if God says...hey your friends need you...and pumps him full of inspiration..
"WITH EVERY BREATH WE BREATH AND EVERY NOTE I TYPE THE PAST IS CREATED AND A PIECE OF FUTURE IS ACTUALIZED"

Yes, our life is truly hard right now.
But it gives us a little HOPE when we realize our hearts are shared by these amazing friends we are truly grateful to have in our life.
We are truly blessed with their love.

I don't feel the need to mention names, because what we felt was such a private intimate moment of friendships...if the two read this, he and she both will know who they are and I have thanked both of them, but will once again say THANK YOU for being truly amazing, thoughtful, caring, and inspirational.
One may ask why I am writing this blog if I feel it was an intimate moment...the reason..because maybe this blog will touch you for a moment, and you will touch another friend, and the circle of friendship will continue throughout!

Little tokens of friendship...but oh so very Large tokens of Love! They will be cherished always and forever.

ROME IN A DAY

Our latest shoot was our second time around with these guys and girly! Were lucky enough to yet again work with the band:
Rome In A Day

We arrived a bit early on location, basically to get the lights set up and ready to go. It was a bit of a hot one out, so we wanted to start shooting right away before the band broke a sweat. After the band primped and I helped them decide what clothing would look best, we were ready to roll!

The location was simply amazing. Concrete, Bricks, Hard, and exactly what I was looking for! I'm very happy to have found this place! The band was also very excited once they laid eyes on it.

As always, these 4 were a blast to work with. They seem to really enjoy the photos and working with us, so in return it makes it alot of fun for us!

We spent the entire day here and final shot of course would be a sky shot...and told the band to simply have fun. Sure enough they did and we feel it shows all of their personalities Thanks again to: Adam, James, Jay, and Ali.

bob

Had an amazing, very meaningful shoot with the band:
bob

We started out this shoot very different from any others....and I kinda knew right from the start this was going to be "different" in the best kind of way! Yes ladies and gents our shoot with the band bob, started at no other place than a pitstop at Starbucks! After fueling our bodies with the best fuel on earth, we ventured on in the van together towards Baltimore MD. This made the shoot even more fun, almost a better connection from the start with these guys.

After arriving at our destination, I made the rounds to scout out the place a bit. The guys did so well picking out the location!
An old escalator, an old stage, an old disco ball...what more could you ask for?

The guys were simply amazing to work with!
They helped in every way they possibly could, they made us laugh, made sure we had something to drink, and did everything we suggested Was one of the best shoots yet, really do love working with and spending time with these amazing group of guys. Thank you to: Curtis, Tommy, Matt, Adam, Carl, and Drew!
